Our classes are practical:
We link concepts and techniques to the workplace. Whenever time allows we practice the skills and techniques we teach in the classroom. We give students take-home memory aids to facilitate the practice of these skills back on the job. Courses and topics are targeted to individuals at various organizational levels, from front-line employees to senior executives.
We never “preach!”
Conscious Pursuits, Inc. respects all major faith traditions and belief systems. We do not teach any “doctrine.” Our courses offer guidance based on wisdom drawn from philosophy, psychology, major faith traditions of the world, literature and modern spiritual writings. We seek to find the “common bedrock” of wisdom which underlies and supports all these fields, and incorporate application to practical everyday living situations.
Our classes providing continuing education units:
- For nurses we apply for contact hours for any classes which appear to meet the criteria
- We are in the process of obtaining other forms of continuing education units such as for Social Workers, CPAs, etc. If you have a specific need in this area please contact us.
Our classes support organizational change:
When creating organizational change – such as significantly improving a work environment – training can be a critical piece of the process. Training does need to be supported by other changes in the workplace that support the desired end results – so we recommend having an integrated organizational change plan.
